Ceramic Kintsugi Dish Soap Bottle in Green and Purple
This ceramic dish soap bottle was made using a plaster mold and slip. The facial features were hand made and attached after demolding, then hand painted with bright underglazes. Finally glazed and fired to 1060 degrees centigrade. Unfortunately, this entire batch of bottles basically exploded in the kiln. BUT I managed to put them back together with some resin and gold paint (DIY Kintsugi) and they're looking better than ever!
The inside and outside of the bottle are glazed (Earthenwear) and it will hold water. Do keep in mind that the bottle was broken at one point and 'glued' back together, so leaks are possible.
This bottle is approximately 18 cm tall. Please note that this bottle has some imperfections, namely uneven coloring in places, small chips, excess resin and gold glitter dust. Because of these imperfections they're being sold at a discounted price.
This bottle is part of series of ceramic household items made in the spring of 2019.
Since it is a handmade, fragile piece of ceramic this item is only shipped with tracking. If you have any questions about this product, shipping or anything else, feel free to send me a message!
