Miniature Ceramic Pot/Mug with Lid in Copper (I)

Regular price €40,00 €0,00

Is it mug or is it a very small cooking pot? Who is to say!

These small, shiny mugs are actually a bit misleading because they are NOT food and drink safe and they also cannot be microwaved. If you’re looking for a purely decorative little mug, then look no further!

These mugs were made by first making a mold of my favorite childhood mug, then slipcasting the mug, an extra ear and the facial features separately. Everything was then combined by hand, fired, glazed, fired again to 1060C and here they are, ready to hold your things, as long as those things aren’t food or drinks.

Please note that some of these mugs may home weird little chips or imperfect bumps and blobs. If you don’t like a little weirdness these are not the mugs for you!

To see the the lids up close, check out the last picture. Please note that the lids don’t make an airtight seal, they basically just lay on top of the mug.

These mugs are  part of an ongoing series of ceramic household items made between 2019 and 2020.
