Ceramic Plant Milk Jug with Eyes

Regular price €40,00 Sale price €50,00

This ceramic milk jug was made using a plaster mold and slip. The facial features were hand made and attached after demolding, then hand painted with bright underglazes. Finally glazed and fired to 1060c. The outside of the bottle is glazed (Earthenwear). The inside is glazed as well so in theory you should be able to use it as a vase and fill it with water. HOWEVER, I don't recommend doing this as the narrow top will make it almost impossible to clean! This jug is approximately 25 cm tall.

Please note that your jug can have has some imperfections, like uneven coloring in places. This particular jug has some smugdes and a chipped 'lid'.

This jug is part of an ongoing series of ceramic household items made between 2019 and 2020.
